Jost BERNASCH, CEO, ALP.Lab GmbH
Dr. rer. nat. Jost Bernasch has been the Managing Director of the “Virtual Vehicle” Competence Centre in Graz, Austria, since 2004. The research centre has grown from 30 to 240 employees with a turnover of €22 million. The centre focuses on researching smart, safe and eco-friendly vehicles.
Dr. Jost Bernasch studied information science and engineering industrial economics at the University of Bonn. He obtained his PhD at the University of Munich and Dortmund on the topic of real-time image processing for vehicle field survey (driver assistance systems). Afterwards, he worked as project manager and head of driving simulation at BMW Munich.
Dr. Jost Bernasch is a Member of the Steering Committee of International Driving Simulation Conference (DSC), the Founder and Chairman of the Grazer Symposium Virtual Vehicle (GSVF) and the Chairman of the International Styrian Noise, Vibration & Harshness Congress (ISNVH) in collaboration with SAE.
